I usually reply within one business day (China time, GMT+8). If your enquiry arrives late in my day, expect an answer the following morning. If the matter is urgent, say so and give me your deadline.
What to send
The more of this you send in the first message, the more precise my answer will be.
- Your supplier's full legal name in Chinese Plus the business licence if you have it. If the name is wrong, everything downstream is wrong.
- What you are ordering Product, material, intended use and target market (US / EU / UK). The certification scope test depends entirely on this.
- Every certificate or compliance document they have shared Photos or PDFs are fine. Include the issuing body's name if it is printed on the document.
- The name of the company that will receive your payment Not always the same as the supplier. That difference is often the whole problem.
- Order value, and whether a deposit is already paid It changes the urgency and the sequence of what I check first.
- Your main concern, in your own words For example: the certificate may be fake / the product may be outside the certified scope / I am not sure they are a real factory.
I provide independent verification opinions and reports. I do not issue certificates, I am not a certification body, and I do not provide management-system consulting. If what you need is certification for your supplier, that is issued by an accredited certification body — I can tell you what to check, but I cannot issue it.
Documents you send are treated as commercially sensitive. They are used only for the engagement you instruct, are not shared with third parties, and are deleted within 30 days of delivery unless you ask me to retain them. Sample and public case material is always anonymised — company names, registration codes, names of individuals and contact details are removed.
